چکیده
Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP) is an inflammatory disease of the lungs and airways that develops in response to repeated inhalation a wide range aerosol antigens. The clinical picture course HP are highly variable depend on such factors as nature antigen, intensity duration exposure well characteristics patient's immune response. annual incidence HAP 1.28 -1.94 cases per 100 000. Currently, diagnosis usually based characteristic picture, high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) data, bronchoscopy, lung biopsy, evidence antigen. HRCT plays central role HP. most common finding ground-glass opacities, which can be associated with centrilobular nodules air trapping. In some cases, fibrotic signs very similar those idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), changes found lower regions subpleurally. Therapy for includes avoiding considering corticosteroids (CS) and/or immunosuppressive therapy suppress active inflammatory/immune response, treating comorbidities. Nintedanib patients progressive results slower decline function compared placebo.

PURPOSE OF REVIEW To bring readers up to date on recent reports, both clinical and basic understanding, on hypersensitivity pneumonitis. RECENT FINDINGS Although many antigens and environmental settings have already been described as sources of this hyperimmune pulmonary disease, the literature continues to bring forth other conditions that can cause hypersensitivity pneumonitis. We also high...

Clinical manifestations of hypersensitivity pneumonitis may closely mimic other interstitial lung diseases, and the disease onset is usually insidious. High-resolution computed tomography and bronchoalveolar lavage are the sensitive and characteristic diagnostic tests for hypersensitivity pneumonitis. The relevant antigen to hypersensitivity pneumonitis cannot be identified in up to 20% to 30% ...

symptoms recovered within few days. The transbronchial biopsies in the patients described by Lerch et al. [1] and Thornburg et al. [2] revealed a nonspecific, hypersensitivity pneumonitis (compatible with toxic drug-induced damage). Immunosuppressive therapy with steroids induced a rapid relief of all symptoms in all 3 cases. Infectious cause of the pulmonary infiltrates could be excluded by br...
متن کاملChronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis
Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HSP) is a common interstitial lung disease resulting from inhalation of a large variety of antigens by susceptible individuals. The disease is best classified as acute and chronic. Chronic HSP can be fibrosing or not. Fibrotic HSP has a large differential diagnosis and has a worse prognosis. The most common etiologies for HSP are reviewed. Diagnostic criteria are p...

Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP), also called "extrinsic allergic alveolitis," is an immunologically-induced inflammatory disease affecting the alveoli and terminal airways (bronchioles), caused by repeated inhalation of a variety of inciting agents in a susceptible host. A wide range of organic antigens have been identified from different occupations. The clinical presentations of hypersensit...
